Description:
Aluminum, Product Development Engineer, automotive, structural, Materials. Duties include:
• Developing aluminum-based structural automotive components;
• Working on multiple development projects simultaneously;
• Interfacing with departments such as Sales, Designers, Testing, Finite Element Analysis, and Program Managers;
• Presenting complex technical data to a group;
• Working with outside customers.

Qualifications:
Education: 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline; Masters Degree is a plus.
Required skills:
• 3+ years of automotive related experience;
• Must have product patents;
• Experience in structural mechanics and engineering physics;
• Materials science background w/emphasis on aluminum or other lightweight materials;
• International working skills w/understanding of the global market;
• Ability to travel internationally (occasional);
• Excellent computer skills;
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
